Telehealth Services
What is Telehealth?
Telehealth is the use of digital information and communication technologies, such as computers and mobile devices, to access health care services remotely and manage your health care.
In response to the current COVID-19 public health crisis, our therapists now offer telehealth sessions to our clients in order to maintain our care and support during this stressful and uncertain time.
At Green House Group, PA, psychotherapy can now occur through interactive video communications. Please call to discuss whether this is a good option for you.
Prior to initiating telehealth services, please call your insurance provider to confirm your coverage for these services.

Tips for a Successful Telehealth Appointment
- Clarify any questions regarding the Telehealth Consent form with your therapist, prior to or at the start of your first telehealth session.
- Define a private area in your home or office where you can complete a session. Let your therapist know if there is anything that might compromise your privacy.
- Make sure the area you have defined has adequate lighting.
- Set up the camera at eye-level. Be sure the video frame includes your shoulders to the top of your head. Your therapist can discuss any alternative needs that might be applicable to you.
- Plug in your computer or mobile device.
- Use a secure wi-fi service or a private cellular hot spot.
- During the session, close as many unnecessary applications as possible and limit or discontinue the use of any additional devices that use the same wi-fi/cellular signal.
- Be familiar with how to adjust the volume of your speakers.
- Define a plan on how to resume contact with your therapist in the case of service disruption.
- Conduct the session mostly like you would an in-person session. Be yourself.
