Carol Gamble joined the Green House Group, PA in September 2019 and became licensed as a Psychologist in September 2021. She received her Ph.D. from Long Island University, Brooklyn in New York. Dr. Gamble sees individuals of all ages. Her clinical focus has been primarily on working with children, adolescents, and young adults. She is particularly interested in early caregiver-child interactions, attachment formation, as well as interpersonal functioning, and in how these factors influence current behaviors. Dr. Gamble uses a variety of treatment modalities tailored to the individual’s needs, developmental stage, cognitive capacity, and emotional functioning. These include psychodynamic as well as cognitive behavioral treatment approaches - for example, TF-CBT for trauma survivors and DBT, and play therapy for children. When working with younger clients, she especially values parental involvement to help children grow to their fullest potential while feeling safe and loved. Additionally, Dr. Gamble has extensive training treating the effects of current and past trauma and abuse in children and adults. Dr. Gamble has worked in hospital inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as in schools, colleges, residential treatment centers, and community settings.
